Munasib is a matrimonial app for adults who are looking for marriage. It is not for children and it is not designed to be used by anyone under 18. We have zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), including child sexual abuse material (CSAM), grooming and any attempt to contact or exploit a minor.
1. Adults only
- You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. The app asks for your date of birth when you sign up and will not accept a date that makes you younger than 18.
- Our Terms of Service require that you are at least 18 and legally eligible to marry.
- If we learn that an account belongs to someone under 18, we suspend it immediately.
2. What is not allowed
- Any sexual or exploitative content involving a minor, in photos, profile text or messages.
- Any attempt to contact, groom, solicit or exploit a minor.
- Profile photos that show a child. Profile photos must show the adult member themselves.
3. How we find and prevent it
- Photos are checked on your phone for exactly one face before upload, and are reviewed to keep the platform safe.
- Messages are screened automatically for phone numbers, social handles and other contact details, so a conversation cannot easily move off the app.
- Members can block anyone, and a blocked person can no longer see or contact them.
- Our moderation team reviews every report.
4. How to report
- In the app: use the Report button on a member's profile, or the menu inside a chat. Reports go directly to our moderation team.
- By email: safety@munasib.org. Please include the member's name and city, and describe what you saw. Do not forward the images themselves.
5. What we do about a report
- We remove the content and suspend the account while we investigate.
- Where we find CSAE or CSAM, we ban the account permanently, preserve the relevant information as the law requires, and report it to the appropriate authorities, including national child-protection bodies and law enforcement.
- We cooperate with lawful requests from law enforcement.
6. Contact
Our designated contact for child safety matters is the Munasib moderation team at safety@munasib.org. If a child is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services first.
